I had a call from my bank manager in Nigeria saying that there was a pidgeon stuck in my bank account but all I needed to do was give him by bank account details in order to free the bird and get it out....

You can fill on surveys etc to earn a few extra quid but it's pocket money really. Great if you're a student though! Other than that it's all scams mate.

Make money from home?

I saw this one avertised in a national Paper: The first thing they ask you to do is enter you card details so that "they can take £1 to ensure you are a real person" I know a lot are really dodgy, but all of them? there must be some sounds ones around?

Job Opportunity For You - Work at home Dad makes £8,795/month working part-time from home

Any email or web site which wants your card details is dodgy, unless you are going through your usual bank, ebay or Amazon ritual. What these people want, is your card details. Then they can go on a spending spree with it.

If they genuinely want to take only £1 without wanting to know the security guff, then it is a form of pyramid selling. You will send the same email to others, and take £1 from them.
