Are The Stewards At Withdean Becoming Ars****s?

I know they have never been @ the top of my xmas card list.....But ive never had an issue with the stewards since weve been at withdean. But of late they all seem to be on some power trip and saw them going ott with a couple of lads on saturday and have seen them buzzing around thinking their important.

Anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Brightonboy and I were sitting in the wrong seat (again) and I know we were bad to do it, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

The stewerds came up to Gareth and said he had to move (I was going to move with him) and we said OK. So in the 2nd half when he was going to move, they chucked him out. They didn't warn him, but the stewerds said they had spoken to hte club and the club informed them that he had to leave. I was very lucky not to join them (I don't know how I got away with it).

So yes we were wrong, they were very polite about it and even had a laugh about it! grrrrr.....

So No they weren't being a*****ls

In their defense it does say that anyone sitting in the wrong seat will be ejected from the ground.

How did the stewards know you were sitting in the wrong seats? Someone must have complained.

So you either,

Sat in a seat that someone else wanted to sit in.
Didn't ask the people around you if it was ok to sit there.

In which case I'm afraid rules are rules.

The bloke who sits next to me is banned, so there is a spare seat every week.

Brighton Boy was sitting there so he didn't have to sit on his own in the bus stop stand. What a bunch of s.

You are! They came up to Gareth at ht and asked him to move. He said ok will do for 2nd half, and when he went to move for the 2nd half, they told him to leave (it was the clubs decision). They were very good about it. We didn't complain as it was us in the wrong.

I heard she was from environmental health checking sound levels together with a decibel monitor. Or I've been had.

I have always found the stewards to be very polite & pleasant.

But I adhere to the rules unlike BB & co - very annoying.

What section were BrightonBird and Gareth in? There is one girl that gets us all to sit in H Block, but we are all meant to sit anyway.

I never seem to see the stewards anywhre else, but I am primarly trying to watch the football.
