Normally we have our pack and letter stating why it is good for our health to renew for the next season after a glorious season against all the odds.

I may be wrong but before there is a discount for renewing before 1/4 and a tier of charges after that.

I seem to remember getting this pack several weeks before now so where are they ?.

Is it because the board and marketing team are incredulous that we are 3rd bottom and 60/40 to be playing division 4 football next season.

Are they waiting for some miracle or upturn in form whereby it is likely we will be in Div One next season before sending them out ?.

As it stands I can understand this rationale a I dread to think what renewals will be for division 4 football at Withdean.

I cant see how the club can do anything but delay with our current plight in mind. Will be a number of waverers at present until we know what Division we will be in. Factor in the credit crunch as well and the pricing will be crucial.

They/we are between a rock and a hard place!

The more they keep delaying it, the further back they have to put in some sort of early bird date, which will mean that some potential "new" season ticket holders wont be able to purchase tickets to untill well into the summer, when everone is enjoying the sunshine and forgetting about the football, and wont be bothered to get one, as the vague interest they had during the season will disappear

The way things are run, we will probably receive a letter saying that if you pay by midday in a weeks time, you can have your ticket price frozen, otherwise it will be a 5% increase and a FREE JPT ticket (in other words you pay for an extra game)

I don't see the problem whatsoever.

You talk about 'spin' etc but I would much rather recieve a positive letter then one saying ' look, we done shit this season and might do next season... fancy a season ticket'...come on this is what supporting is all about!!!

As people have said, they probably want to see what division we're in...

But details of season tickets went out in February if my memory serves me correctly.

I think it was easier last season, we knew we weren't going up or going down. This season, who the hell knows what's going to happen?!

Waiting until they see what Div we are playing in...but don't expect a price cut

This implies that prices will actually increase if we stay up......in a bad recession, with inflation fast approaching zero. Are we expected to fund salary increases for the already-wealthy?

It doesn't. That was the year before.

Well the pack definately didn't come out in April. The Early Bird renewal date was 4th April! Unless they gave season ticket holders 3 working days to find £400 and put it in the post:lol:
