Arctic Monkeys CD released..

..I'm off to Hampstead HMV, is The Arctic Monkeys cd worth buying? I love the single, but haven't heard much else, apart tons of hype of course.

My other option is The Supergrass cd, which I didn't buy last year, for some very strange reason.

Arctic Monkeys album is good not worth the huge hype but it is a good album.


Supergrass Album is probably their worst album to date so woudl definitely go for the Arctic Monkeys given those two choices.

Downloaded it last week, wasnt really blown away by it. Not worth shelling out for anyway.

The released version sounds weird to me. It's so slickly produced i can't get used to it, he sings a lot slower and more pronounced. Gonna stick to the versions i've been listening to for the last month or two instead.

Ashcroft's new album is (yet again, sadly) MOR tosh for 30 somethings who drive expensive cars and use bluetooth.

Supergrass's album was widely recognised as one of last year's best.

The Kooks' album is worth getting.

I think the Richard Ashcroft single sounds like Bon Jovi, I don't rate it at all.

yeah I'm not the biggest fan of his latest single but both of his other solo albums were quality - I'm sure the rest of this one is much the same, I haven't bought it yet either, it rests on the next single.

got The Kooks though - its a great album, anyone going to the Concorde gig next month?

For the record I am 30, drive an expensive car but don't use bluetooth, what of it fucknut? And Richard Ashcroft is and always will be a legend.

Kooks album is very good though so I'll give you that one.

Richard Ashcroft is a legend but his new stuff is drivel. I read that he tought his last album was as significant as Marvin Gaye. What a load of crap.

The new Supergrass album is terrific. A great album. Mind you, I rate every one of their albums.

I heard the Artic Monkeys this morning. Interesting, but need to give it a couple more listens too.

Worth getting but not worth shifting the four times more then Oasis did in the opening week of Definitely Maybe on its first day alone.
