When the OP talks about 'Arabic' food, can I assume he means what we call 'North African' or 'Middle Eastern' food...?

People are quoting Moroccan, Lebanese, Turkish and Iranian etc cuisine, but not all of these places are Arabic.

Yes sir, you certainly can. Any cuisine faintly sniffing of the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, or North Africa will suffice. I was thinking more about proper restaurants though, as opposed to just doner places.
