[Misc] Appetisers/drinks central Brighton advice

Hello,

I’d really appreciate some advice please

My girlfriend is visiting from Canada and we are in Brighton, we’d like to go somewhere for “appys” like nibble food and reasonably priced drinks/cocktails

Above Wetherspoons and Walkabout but relatively budget aware. Must be walkable from West St.

Grew up here but have no idea where’s good.

Isn't appetizers a bit of a North American theme?

Wouldn't you be better to do Tapas or something? - or just go to any pub in Brighton and order her a sausage roll, scotch egg etc - I feel like that's our equivalent...

They're both chains but do cocktails and sharing/tapas style food - Las Iguanas and All Bar One.

Trashed Panda on Regency Square is really good for cocktails but on the higher end of the scale.

If you want food and cocktails not too expensive Las Iguanas is a good shout.

My recomendation though would be walk to Preston Street then go to...

Bincho Yakitori - Japanese/Koren BBQ really amazing food and pretty cheap then go to Gung Ho opposite for cocktails.
