Its rather vile, it really is, but the girl in it, lives in Brighton.

My missus used to work with the hostel manager featured in the show. Moderately interesting programme. Showed the damage heroin can do to an entire family fairly well. It will be interesting to see how the trip to SA goes.

I thought it was quite good. Not really having had much exposure to serious drug addicts, I was taken quite by surprise at just how "together" the girl was to some extent, and it did come across very much that it was the addictive nature of the drug that had got hold of her.

I wish her well in rehab and hope it goes okay, although it would have been interesting to hear what happened to the boyfriend as towards the end of the programme he seemed to disappear out of the equation.

You can keep up a smack habit and most people will be none the wiser. I know a bloke who used to work for AMEX and regularly go into the public toilets before work and chase the dragon. It's not the effects that are a problem, it's the constant thieving and borrowig money that is.

I reckon I'd prefer to DO the mother, especially as the daughter is probably all clapped up.
