.....specifically The International Space Station?
....If you're in Sussex look to the west in 5minutes and wave at them XXX .... It's a particularly good viewing ...not quite as good as the one just after midnight .....
BUT.......

...No moon. Warm night, down on the beach in moderate darkness ....... looking at a few tin cans and tubes with people doing stuff.

Exceptional

By pure accident I am certain I just witnessed the ISS go by. Looking at the ISS tracker, seems about right. Far too high and quiet to be a commercial jet.

Hopefully the smoke from the Lewes fire won't affect this.

I'm off outside in a moment - Question Time on pause.

Absolutely fantastic.

Sky clear and lots of twinkling stars - then from the SW comes the ISS and impressive it was - would have loved to see it through a telescope.

Almost looked as if it passed overhead.

I've been trying to spot it for years, realise now I've been looking in the wrong direction. My garden faces south so assumed it would be low on the horizon looking southwards but not tonight, I happened to look virtually overhead but northwards when I saw what must have been it as it was travelling west to east. It appeared to be triangular shape or at least the lights were, could one of you guys confirm if that is what it was, cheers
