We've all got ours but my dads hasn't arrived yet. Spoke to the club yesterday and they said it will arrive before Saturday. What happens if it doesn't?!!

What is the point of those? I presume you have to take the card out out to swipe and gain entry to the stand and will have to take it out again to have them swiped for food and drinks, so why not leave them in your wallet? They are also very tacky and cheap looking in comparison to the rest of the 1901 pack, so people are likely to try quite hard not to wear them??

The only plus I can think of is that it will mean 1901ers can roam in and out of the lounge without having to produce their ticket everytime

when i looked around it was not a swipe it was a scanner type thing + i think you might have to wear it for what lounge you are in, not 100% sure though i asked the club

Go to either of the club shops and get a paper ticket printed. Just take along your fan number. That's what I did (Queens Road shop queue was very very short) when I got a bit paranoid about my SSC swipe card not having arrived in Friday's post. In fact I didn't even need my fan number, just name and address. They printed a paper ticket off on Saturday morning, but I'm pretty sure they'd do it earlier than that if you asked them. OK, mine's arrived in Saturday's post, but why take the chance eh? The peace of mind of having that piece of paper in your hand is priceless. IMHO, like.

Thanks I would have done that for sure, but all received now. Great, can't wait now.

Don't think you'll have to swipe it. It's one of those proximity type cards so, in fact, you wouldn't even have to take it out of your wallet (assuming that will fit in the scanner). I never even used to open the plastic cover when using it in the North Stand turnstiles last season.

Question for those 1901ers' in the know.
Are we strictly restricted to our own specific 1901 lounge or can we visit friends in other lounges? I have friends and Godchildren in the East Stand 1901 lounge and I will be sitting in the West but would love to go and say hi before or after the game. Sorry if this question has been asked on another thread but can anyone help?

I think that's the point of the lanyards, to restrict you to your lounge. Otherwise everyone would just go to the "best" lounge I guess.

Although I believe after the match you will be able to move freely around the concourses, I'm not sure you will be able to access other lounges.
