Yes but the point is it wasnt a shambles was it?

Not really from what I saw of it, both candidates came across quite well for an American election.
I would like the four year rule here too.

:lolol:

Its weird how I agree with Southover

Sometimes left and right agree about things like state ownership! One thing I can say about myself and I expect you can say about yourself too is that we are not Neo-Liberals like some of the twats in Brussels and in the House of Commons!

There are a lot of radicals on the so called far right. That would have no problem with a lot of what you say. Sometimes I think the terms left and right are outdated

The far left and right have always found the best place to recruit is amongst the working classes, and the working classes have very similar aspirations in life whether left or right.
Maybe we can meet up at an away match one day to discuss over a beer? It would be interesting to have a chat with you, bearing in mind our political views are supposed to be so diametrically opposed!

Nationalising all the privatised companies. Great idea :nono: Then we can get back to the old days of shit car manufacturing, inefficient steel works, crap airline, inefficient mining, ship building no one wants, the list goes on. All of them had two things in common, militant unions and cost to the tax payer.

From interviews I've seen Tomlinson a twat of the highest order.

Oh yes it was all the militant unions fault wasn't it? Not that all these industries had weak and inefficient management at the helm.
Privatised utilities have given us companies owned by foreign countries' companies and call centres in India. We have the loss of 28 million private peoples records in the post because of the government outsourcing the Inland Revenue's internal postal system. Train companies that are still inefficient even though they now get even more subsidy than they did when they were nationalised. The difference with the railways now is that our taxes are helping to support private companies and shareholders, what brilliant, brilliant progress we have made.
