Anyone repaired their own laptop key?

My "I" from my laptop key has come off (it wasn't breaking at the time, it came off by my nail chipping it hard as i swung round!).

Every time I stick it back on, basically by just pressing down, it just pops back off after it's hit on the left side. Anyone know how to fix them properly? Nothing's broken.

I suppose it'll only be about a tenner to get one key repaired anyway....

Already googled it smart-arse and watched a few youtube videos too, all of which tell me to do what I'm already doing..!

What a coincidence. Just as I was reading this the ' ' from my key oard has stopped working. ollocks.

No idea tbh. I've bodged it up in the past with a bit of bluetac!

One of my grandsons had 3 keys missingon his laptop and was told by a laptop repair shop they couldnt repair individual keys he had to replace the lot.
