Since Brexit, Covid, Ukraine/Russia, now this ongoing shitshow in the Middle East, as well as the potential climate catastrophe and global economic problems, it's an avalanche of misery, doom, gloom and very little hope, on a constant and daily basis.
Oh, how I yearn for more pleasant times - not that they were perfect - but the past few years have become relentlessly awful, and there seems no end to it.
