Pork pie land.
Bosun where around when away fans were located in that end, rotheram, swindon and mansfield come to mind but after the north east away section was created it was mainly worthing, lancing and mid sussex chaps in the south:moo:

Well obviously? Why go in there when the away fans had moved to the Pen next to the North Stand?

Mansfield game was mainly Eastbourne/NTR. If it is the time when everyone was fighting each other to get a chance to "split the ******'s lips" in the South West corner after chasing them out of the actual South Stand?

Me for one and as the rev says mainly Lancing Worthing or basically Crabtree and Clifton and we were joined by quite a few lads from Burgess Hill Haywards Heath area. I cannot remember any Bosun etc they all still went in the north
I must know you as I used to live in Lancing, go in the South Stand (SSRA!) and used to go to away games on coaches which were largely the Crabtree from Lancing and Clifton from Worthing. The Bosun were a separate lot IIRC. Can't remember the name of the guy who organised it but a bloke called Norris was involved. I'm not going to say any names on here, but whatever happened to Will Pavey?

If you mean Will Davie he doesn't go to games any more but I see him in Worthing occasionally for a chat and a pint.

Might have been Davie, yeah, Big guy (probably getting his surname confused with Ron Pavey!)

.....
loads but not for here???
Exactly,.... we dont need finger pointing here,... those of us who were there remember them.... some are still here online,.. not many,... but none will advertise..... unlike the pseudo hard men of today.... it wasn't clever, but it was the sign of the times. Needless to say,.. those in the South were mostly the Bosun and the Lancing Square mob.

Most of the Crabtree in Lancing went in the North...... most of the time,..... I know, I lived it. The Farmers however, were South Stand.... along with the Clifton in Worthing.

He went to Pompey away last season Catty but left early as he was bored and needed a drink.

I think he blagged his way in anyway.
