Anyone own a classic car?

And have a few hours spare on Saturday 11th July.

We are holding an informal Classic Car Show at Piddinghoe near Newhaven between 12noon - 3pm on this day.

Nothing flash just getting a few interesting vehicles together on the Hoe. Entry is free for exhibitors and visitors alike. Cash bar with a barrel of Harveys and ploughmans lunches in the village hall.

Let me know if you're interested and what car you are going to be bringing along so we have some idea of what numbers to cater for.

I do own a Austin A35 but sadly while it was parked got hit it pretty hard (happend a few days ago). Got all insurance details of the guy so I should be fine. Going to be out of action for a while. Just hoping its not written off.

If you ever have another classic car show just give me a shout and i might be able to bring it along.

You haven't chosen the best day. Ardingly is on the 11th and 12th which is a really big event for classics. Also Saltdean Lions have a show on the 18th in the Oval if your interested.

We were aware of Ardingly but they are looking for hundreds of cars whilst we will be happy with 30 or 40. Just an excuse to have a couple of pints of Harveys in the sun really.
