For pronunciation, my Dutch ex-wife tried to get me to practice saying "acht en tachtig kacheltjes". It means nothing, but roughly translated it is "88 little heaters", but apparently great for Dutch pronunciation

Im hopeless with languages. Sadly, I learned when I was in the navy at 19 that no matter where I was in the world, there was always somebody an arms length away who could speak English.
