should land just as the second half kicks off though no doubt my bags will be last out and there wont be any screens at airport. Still 3 weeks after that of watching football and snorkelling

Prob dumb question is there any kind of radio you can take on a plane once and turn on once its airborn or can you put your mobile on?

I on purpose entered my daughter into a dressage competition so that we would be missing it.

My husband is flying out tomorrow. Or he will be if he can find his passport.

No idea about the radio.

mobile phones are a big nono even in offline/flight mode. Only 'to be on the safe side' as i believe there is no REAL reason.

not sure about radios if you'd get any signal

Because I can't imagine much worse than spending ninety minutes watching England play. Despise those players when they play for their club teams so not going to start cheering after them now.

That and I'm not English :p

Bloody hope to but I'm banking on the slightly posh Richmond Enclosure at Goodwood Racecourse to have a screen somewhere. Bad, bad planning.

Think I might play golf, last Saturday the course was pretty much empty, had a great round, no queues, no riff-raff, got into the club house to see from Crouchs penalty miss onwards.

Have to go and visit the family in Yorkshire. New baby has arrived and the missus insists we go. Unfortunately that part of the family hate sport and have organised a walk over the Dales on Saturday afternoon. Attendance compulsory says the missus. If I want days off for cricket and the Albion..duty calls.:nono: :nono:
