but how come teams like Derby/Plymouth etc... managed to get there kits sorted with fairly little trouble

Actually all teams have grief with their suppliers. But if you are talking about new kits, it's because they order them in January for delivery the following August.

This is a very limited run that was ordered in mid-October. We were told at the very outset that they would not be delivered until the end of December. It is now the end of November. So it's still a month away. Look at a calendar if you don't believe me.

I ask Insider the other day since I wanted mine for a Christmas present. He said at the moment it was still due to be in store on 8 January 2006. However Errea where trying to get them out in time for Christmas.

On the subject of kits, perhaps the shirt sponsorship deal can be sorted out earlier this time (hopefully with SKINT) so that the shirts can be ordered in time to reach the club shop by June/ July.

Also, I would like a return to the darker blue.
