Should be a capacity crowd at the pan. Got my ticket and i heard there was still some left being sold at intersport on monday.

Few pints of Harveys in the Landsdown pre match, a few pints post match then on to the Dihlraj in Fisher street for a ruby

Bairdy was here today, they need almost 8,000 people to turn up to cancel out the huge police bill and stewarding costs they have been dumped with. They aren't real happy with the arrangements that have been forced on them.

Lansdowne seems the best option - probably get there just before 1.00. :drink:

I was reading on the Lewes web site that the home team must pay the away team half the gate receipts plus their expenses (travel @ 6p a mile, over night hotel stay etc).

Unbelievable

Which is why an away game against a bigger side is always a banker in the Cup.

Tis true although I thought it was 60p a mile, Lewes will stand to make a similar amounts as a home match against Eastbourne Borough, hence the increase ticket price, I also think they are not allowed to open the bar during the match due to FA rules

I stand to be corrected but I am sure that I was told by Phil Ledger at Woking that it is expenses of £6 per mile and the Officials expenses are taken out of the gate receipts and then the gate receipts are split 50/50 with the home club bearing the cost of straging the match.

Casting my mind back to my days on Surrey FA and seeing the match receipts for cup games I am fairly certain it used to be the gate receipts less all expenses incurred by both clubs and then 10% to the FA and 45% to each club.

That was nearly 20 years ago so things have probably changed.
