I know its a long shot on here, but anyone else going to be watching/taking an interest in the Womens World Cup which starts Saturday? England have got a chance of winning it - hopefully they'll do better than the mens team!

Its the goal keepers that make me laugh the most, they are always utter shite.

I was going to say "Why is it a long shot? This is a football forum so I expect most people will take an interest." Then I read the other replies. Well I'LL be taking an interest, as I support England in everything from football to dwarf-tossing. Do you know on which channel the matches are going to be shown?

P.S. I also think that Hope Powell should be the next England mens' manager when Capello leaves next summer. Now that IS a long shot!

I thought I was scraping the barrel with the U17 WC but that's just a step too far.

i personally think the u17 is better to watch than, the u21 purely on the basis that some of the U21 if there good enough should be breaking into the first team, were as with the U17 you can get a good basis of up and coming talent.

The only bad thing about the U17 WC is, the quality of the picture on EuroSport. Honestly feels like watching a 1978 World Cup match.

Might watch a bit of the women's though. Might.

women are shit at football so no!

We were very shit at football for a bloody long time, but not being a glory supporter I still watched us.

Will watch it and support England quite happily. Mind you, I'd watch any sport - probably even tiddlywinks - if I had a reason to get involved and favour/support one team...

If it is on terrestrial tv then I will probably tune in for the England games, it is our team after all, but if it is on Sky then I won't be watching any of it...unless someone posts a link on here or I can find it myself.
