Anyone getting to/from Falmer from Brighton by BUS?

How is that going?

All this talk of the the train improvements for the most recent games, as well as the car park -but what about the bus?

I wouldn't even know where to get a bus into town afterwards, presumably the same place the park and rides leave from? What are the queue's like? As it's not always going to be possible to have a drink after the game on a Saturday, it'd be nice to know what the other options are of getting back to the station/middle of town

I've used the bus twice, the 23 from Eastern Road and the 25 from the Steine......both have been very easy journeys dropping off and picking up on Village Way outside the stadium. Recommended.

Due to the long queuses for Mill Hill I attempted to find the Shoreham service via Westdene which i was informed ran from the outside of the Amex,could not find,can anybody say if this service is picking up passengers en route and how do you find it for the return service?

No. Both buses were empty when they arrived and I got straight on. Really easy, I'll use them every time I think.

The 23/25 are the nearest stops to the ground, except when jobsworth stewards dictate that you have to take a detour of the whole ground rather than walk up 50 yards of traffic free road for 'safety reasons' which don't effect VIP's or guests.
