Anyone ever heard Andy Naylor singing...?

Sadly, I did last night, at the Albion Christmas Dinner.

As his penance for suggesting a few weeks ago that ‘Sussex by the Sea’ be scrapped, he had to get up in front of everyone last night and sing it - solo. However, the double-crossing bastard sung ‘Delilah’ instead, until he was booed into submission.

It was nice to see his finger in on the pulse by saying where his loyalties will be lying ‘on Saturday’.

Still, it raised another 400-odd quid for the A&K fund.

I think this is another opportunity missed by the club. A sponsored punch Andy Naylor event would have raised a lot more money

It was actually a good night. I thought the £1 for Andy Naylor to sing was a novel way of raising some money for the Alive & kicking Appeal. HE GOT SOUNDLY BOOED FOR HIS RENDITION OF DELILAH! I didn't recognise many of the people there but someone pointed out TLO - I'd have liked to have said "hello" but didn't get the opportunity.

I had a good night to. i thought naylor was good. i saw you TLO but was too wrecked to come and see you.

however the only slightly sour point was some of the players leaving so early, and they werent going to bed either. also leon was a bit moody

To be fair Alan, you don't give people much option but to give you a wide berth.

When I was thinking what to put, I did wonder if someone was going to make a reference to that. Isn't predictability depressing? (Unless you're Gareth Glover, I suppose.) The only surprise was that I had a bet with myself that it was going to be Trigger or Artois saying it. :p

Thank you for the pleasant surprise Chappers.
