I'm afraid about the time of the next fixture I'll have to be working on my plot getting ready for planting. I'm afraid I can't risk losing a chance to get my early Potatos in... sorry.

I'd like to take this opportunity to declare myself very much IN the race to succeed George Burley.

If I am approached ( and i can neither confirm nor deny that any approach has taken place ) : I feel that out of respect for the Scottish FA , i would have to give it serious consideration.

I would like to rule myself out of the running as I have decided that I want a chance of success and therefore am saving myself for San Marino job.

I'm in - just so long as I can 'work' from home. Under the guise of Twinkle McToes, I'll pick the team by using the RANDOM SELECTION button on the Registered Vaguely-Scottish Footballer List I'll insist on having. Hey, maybe Apple will do an iphone 'App' so I don't even have to turn a computer on? Besides, I'm the cheap option; & things can't possibly get any worse for the SFA than they already are.

No further applications required.

I'm out. I also no longer wish to be considered for the England goalkeeper position or overseas cricket tours.

I'm still in the running. My main selection policy will be by using a spectrometer; I will pick the 11 palest, gingerest players as the first team and I will arrange tough and testing fixtures, the first of which will be against Roedean year 6 (2nd 11)

There would have to be at least two international-quality players in the squad for me to be interested, that's my minimum. So for that reason Gordon, I'm out.

I'll take it. Even if I only last a couple of matches before getting the boot, I'd still probably trouser a lot more than I will in my present job in the few years before I have to retire!
