Out of interest, how many of you play it in Hard Mode? “Any revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses”.

Pretty much the same pattern as me, except I had FOUR failed attempts at that elusive first letter. Gah!

Today's is a streak graveyard...

My wife has paused for a think, having had 5 guesses and 2 possible words to choose between.

To be honest, I'm not sure what she's hoping to gain from a 'think', when it's literally a 50:50 guess

I didn’t know that. I always play in hard mode but have never done so officially if you get my drift. Anyway, pleased to get away with a 4 td - I really DON’T like these ones which come down in the way this one did.
