The Vudu Bar have added me as a friend on Myspace and left a bloody huge poster on my site. Has anyone been to this place?

Sounds an interesting place.

I need a new Friday night stomping ground as Brighton is shit on Fridays. The Funky Fish is alright but they play the same music all the time.

I much prefer a Friday night in with a bottle and the wife dressing up in her Kinky Goldylocks outfit. Clubbing Schmubbing.

Only illness or football the next day would keep me in on a Friday night. Friday night is party night.

Don't you always go to the same places DP? May explain why you find Brighton so shit on Friday nights.

Personally, I prefer Friday nights in Brighton, there seems to be much less agro than Saturdays.

AND that looks shit.

I usually go to the Funky Fish on Fridays and either the Honey or Beach on Saturdays. Last week I ended up in Yates (don't ask) on Friday, they closed just after midnight as it was empty. I went to Rehab the week before, there were 5 people dancing. My friend tells me the Honey is shit.

I really lack inspiration on Fridays. I just want a friendly crowd, not too busy, good music - hopefully funky house, and a dancefloor. That would do me fine.

I got bored of clubbing in Brighton, used to end up in some right holes . Now I prefer a good solid pub, a few mates and a laugh. I'm not even that old, Brighton can be great if that is all you are after.

Have to agree with that, much better nights out pubbing than clubbing.

There's some f***ing wicked nights running at the moment if you're into breaks and scratch the surface a bit. If you spend all your time in the same clubs listening to the same tunes then it's going to get very boring. Do your research and thou shall be rewarded.

Don't get me wrong I do enjoy a club every now and then just rather than thinking "right I'm going clubbing" and looking for a good night now I just go if I see something I realy want to go to, if that makes sense?

If I am up for dancing I usually find a band I like and see them, but all in all, pubs are my favourite night out.

Makes perfect sense. It depends what you're into I suppose. Luckily enough the stuff I enjoy is still going strong despite the new licensing laws.

There's a wicked old skool night on this weekend with the best line up I've ever seen if you're into that kind of stuff which will be wicked but again only if you're into it!

Ratpack, Top Buss, Altern8, DJ SS and Dr S Gachet on the same night! Ridiculous.

I prefer the alternative scene. Have any of you ever heard of West St? Fantastic bars such as Yates and Walkabout. They used to have 2 clubs down there but one had to close because it was too underground and not enough people went.

I said wicked twice in the same sentence then.

Does that make me look well cool Les?

You tell me, you're the king of cool.
