anyone been to the new 99p shop?

went to the 99p sho at lunch in north street,
what bargains

i bought

3 way torch with flashing orange light
Camera
7 D size batteries
32 AA (HP7 in old money) batteries


anyone else bought such bargains in there?

no but I went next door to SubWay and got a foot long BBQ Rib with extra jalapenos

Will take a broswe in the 99p shop soon though as I'm running out for Lynx wannabe deodorant "Ego" - very very potent, half a squirt and it last for 2 days and I aint kidding!

I think the 99p shop is a downmarket £1 shop.

if something comes to 99p or £3.99p or whatever when I'm paying cash for any product or beverage/food etc...I Always say "keep the 1p"...what do they do? they GIVE it to me!?! Ok so it can screw their books up but they'd be making a profit...useless

I work just across the road from there and the amount of pikeys we see going in there is amazing!!(Not that any of you are pikeys, well except dwayne ) Is the shop really full of bargains or can you get it same price/cheaper at Sainsburys etc?
