Can I suggest you head over the water to St. John's on USVI. Paradise on earth! Golden sandy beaches, warm seas and the majority of th island is the equivalent of the national trust. One of Our most treasured memories in the Caribbean.

St Thomas in USVI is also magnificent.....Megan's bay!

Funnily enough Americans don't head to UKVI as they need passports whereas most if not all of the rest of the Caribbean, they don't need one!

Tortola is beautiful. There's a long wall on one of the peaks that has loads of handpainted art along it which is one of the must sees, and we took a catamaran took while we were out there too which gives you a great sea view of the islands. Another tactic in the Caribbean which we did in Grenada is to just pay a local taxi driver to give you a tour around.
