I have a 10 hour stopover in Frankfurt in August, is it easy to get in to town and back from the airport, anything worth seeing?

Hi, Yes, is relatively easy to get into Frankfurt, the airport is on the outskirts of town and trains run regularly into Frankfurt. Will definitely be worth getting out of the airport and stretching your legs..

This link will give you a few possible touristy things to do

After flying over from NZ, you will just have to see how you feel, as to what and how much you want to do. The museums are probably nort worth doing if you are on a tight schedule and if you find yourself wanting a beer as said in a previous comment, head into Sachsenhausen. Frankfurt has an underground train system, so travel around is fairly easy...

Used to live in Frankfurt. Its all been pretty much said...so as you can imagine...it is pretty dull.. as its banking city, a lot of the people employed in the industry piss off at weekends... sachsenhausen is the bar area.....redlight district directly opp the Train station.
