Visited Red Rocks Ampitheater in Colorado yesterday and what an incredible place it is.( It was nearly 100 degrees)

There is a visitors centre with pictures and wall plaques of bands who have played there and it reads like a who's who of rock music.

Breathtaking venue and fascinating history. Saw 'The Crucible' there last summer on what must have been the hottest day of the year - with the surroundings and weather it was like being in Greece.

have you played there RM? It was really great being there and as you said, it looks incredible, I was wondering what the accoustics were like!

I saw a reformation comedy there a couple of weeks ago - we were lucky with the weather - it got cold but it was fine. It was well done and what a view.

The sea is definitely a few degrees colder down there don't you think ?

Having obliterated my collar bone in a cycle crash by the Palace Pier (nothing to do with HB&B I might add) last June I was unable to swim in Cornwall unfortunately (3 ops later and back to full swimming now though)

Just last week, Sunday to Sunday, BUT it looks as though it may be a regular thing according to the people putting the project together. If you have a gig coming up let me know and I will send the details to our guys in the office ( in Thornton)

We drove through Boulder on Saturday on the way to Estes Park and Bear lake. the place was heaving with people going to see the Collegiate NFL game.

Denver is certainly a great place ( it was the Denver Beer Festival/Oktoberfest last week) and the place was packed full of pissed up people.

I haven't but I would have LOVED to be there for this concert, slightly flakey recording but I assume it was just a guy with a video camera recording it. As for the background noise, why the f*** do people go to concerts and then talk and laugh al the way through them, wankers all of them and I always end up next to one of them

yeah we head out in a couple of weeks and back to CO just after thanksgiving so let us know if you happen to be in town.

how did you enjoy the altitude + alcohol intake? haha.. pretty crazy the effect it can have when you're not used to it as an everyday thing...
