Anybody go to the football on their OWN?

I do. Family in Brighton are not interested in football and I don't know any other Albion supporters in Swindon. Swindon doesn't have much going for it but it's not a bad place to start from when going to away games!

I have quite often gone to away games on my own since I don't live near Brighton any more. Sometimes I have to go in the home end just to get a ticket. It was quite fun at Anfield last year when Kaz score and I was in the kop end. I went up and 4 Brighton supporters in the row behind joined me - I didn't know they were there! Recently my 13 year old daughter comes when we can get to a game. She's not sure who she supports - but likes the pies! She's just starting to refer to the seagulls as "us"!

I'm a Seagulls fan living in exile in east Anglia, so when I can't convince my daughter to come with me to away games. I go by myself. When I go down to the amex though, I normally meet up with friends.

I go to a few away games in the North on my own...when I get down to Brighton, go with my dad who's 78. I nearly always end up chatting to fellow Albion fans at away games.
Was at the Shfd Wed home game last Friday and impressed by how nice most Albion fans are in that many offered my dad help, as he's pretty unsteady on his feet. The Albion is a brotherhood for many, shouldn't put you off going if you are going alone.

You're never alone when watching the Albion!

In the old Div 1 days I used to move away from the other fans (Special trains) so I could go for a beer without the police escort. It was also sometimes better to watch games alone in the home ends as the away pens were not always 'safe'.

I went to the Withdean on my own a few times when mates couldn't make it for whatever reason.

Generally not. Always want to go with a mate if possible, which is why it is such a pain that the club online site only lets you book one poxy ticket. Means I have to suffer death by telephone queue every time I want to go.

I usually go with my lad but if he can't make it then I'm not averse to going on my own. I always say hello to whoever I'm sat next to and try and get a conversation going so it's not a lonely experience.

I've been to two home games this season on my own. Doesn't bother me too much to be honest, obviously it is better with friends but I'm there to watch a game of football.

Regularly go to away games on my own. Have met some great people over the years. Even drove to Carlisle on my own a couple of seasons back.

I do however sit with family and friends at the Amex. Tbh I quite like going on my own in a strange way!
