Try iPlayer for a programmme with David Jason from BBC2 last night. Only saw a few minutes but they were talking about old home kit built planes that they were restoring. Could be something like that.

My (very expert) neighbour says it looks like some kind of home-build, and suggests it needs dousing in fuel and lighting with a match

It looks like a very rustic home built a/c with rotted wooden frame and doped wings and a few basic instruments. I imagine it’s been subsequently converted as an engine for some non-flying purpose (you wouldn’t go flying with that huge rectangular radiator in the pilot’s field of view, at least I wouldn’t)
