It's all I've been able to think about for a couple of weeks now. Big party at my house that day and I know there is also one being hosted by the Albion's Connecticut branch. You don't suppose we'll balls it up do you?:wrong:

That's the spirit Juan! Much interest up there in Canada or the same level of indifference that is typical here?

Pretty big interest, I would say. The Stanley Cup will be over and all eyes on Sarf Africa. All 64 games are going to be shown live on the CBC and its subsidiary channels.

Their going quite large on it at the local club, sweepstake, live matches and all.
So many nationalities here I expect every team will have a supporter/s.
Done 3 fantasy teams and will probably get little sleep.

Every game is on either ABC or ESPN here so you'll easily be able to see games during your couple of weeks in the States.

Two minutes ago I sent this email to my wife:

"Basically, the rule is you are not allowed to talk to me when England are playing except to support England. I will not be doing chores at any point during an England game, including nappy changing or baby feeding.

I will also likely go out & get hammered when England play at midnight.

Love you"

Here in Ibiza there is some hope that we may have the winning team. However most people are Catalans and don't support Spain. No Andy Murrayism here.

Auskick rocks!

Gotta be one of the best kids sporting programs in the world.

Does this mean you've lost your child to AFL?

All in glorious HD as well - and yes I can see us ballsing up, own goal or Rooney moment of madness. Good that the yanks seem to be taking it a bit more seriously or at least catering for Johnny Foreigner

I'm pleasantly surprised that all games will be shown in HD here in New Zealand. Usually, football is not given a second glance here (apart from the Premiership). Unfortunately, they have not gone as far as to move the clocks back 12 hours or so; so games will either be 1.30 am or 6.30 am.
