I think insider said that clubs can allocate 4 games per season as "local promotion". This means just home fans can get in for a reduced price...seems very strange to me.
I was thinking of phoning them tomorrow to ask, plus suggesting that there are likely to be in excess of 1000 Brighton fans attending who may well decide to go in their part of the ground if they maintain the disparity in entry fee. Surely they are clever enough to realise that this would not be in their interest, I am not suggesting that anyone would deliberatly cause trouble but having that kind of mix would be difficult to police.
That's what i dont get about the whole thing, whats stopping albion fans just buying home end tickets on the day? Surely should be a reduced price for all
surrey jim, probably, why should I spend an extra 15 quid to go in our end, if I do go I won't wear any colours and will just pretend to be a neutral, if asked to prove it I will show my drivers licence which has my home address in Gloucester on it, no chance of me being an Albion of Stoke fan living there...
thing i don't get is when they did it against us in 2002 everyone home and away got in for £5, stupid not too this time toke 1,300 ish that day i believe on a wednesday night
will it be easy to transfer from the home end to the away? done it at grounds before once inside but i imagine stoke is one of the more difficult to do this in. any thoughts?
