check out these guys, my girlfriend supported them at the sage in gateshead tonight and they were the most talented musicians i've ever, ever seen

their recordings don't do them justice, but the guy in the band is a cracking songwriter, and won a national award last year

anyway yeah

Not really into folk music at all but if you get the chance go and hear the copper familly really good and their local based been doing folk music for generations.
 


Well tl, they had better be better than the song they thoughtfully decided to represent them on their own myspace site!

Rubbish lyrics, bad vocals and timing, awful out-of-tune harmonizing.
That, over a trite sounding 'tune' that sounds like a weakly attempted Vashti Bunyan.

One instrument on each track has a redeeming quality so far - sounds like a harp on the first, violin on the second pogue-ish (but nowhere near as enigmatic) song. They'd have to do much better than this.
