As eastlondon seagull rightlully pointed out..the whole facebook anti-falmer thing with a measly 39 members..It also has this link to a anti falmer website.

It's one of the most pathetic things ive ever seen....as much as I can imagine why they might not want it there if they are not footie fans..but this site is a joke.

I was actually laughing at the site..their arguments against it are embarrasing. Im actually like half of you are..very shocked it's gone on for so long.

Does anyone know the main oposition website by chance,or is this it????

Anyway here's the site..the pictures bit is funny aswell.

That particular masterpiece always raises a laugh! It was/is the work of Falmer Parish Council whose desire to oppose the stadium wasn't matched by their ability to create a convincing website.

The pictures are particularly creative: Here's the site of the stadium according to FPC:

Which bears little resemblance to the actual stadium site:

I particularly like the inclusion of Bolton's stadium as any sort of evidence of anything. Other than it being a stadium that holds about 25,000 people. And this line just cracks me up: "Keep looking at this web site, we will show pictures of other similar stadiums in other towns ..."

".....other towns" would suggest that they admit that the stadium is within the built up area of Brighton and Hove - assuming they were mistaken referring it as a town and not a city.

i like the comment nexts to the artist impression of the stadium
A picture of an artist's impression of a stadium at Falmer frequently shown by B&H Albion - note it has no people, no crowds, no cars, no car parks, nothing to show the real scale of a stadium or the concrete and steel used in it's construction.

Can't believe there's actually football fans from other teams (WHU) on that site

Bolton's Reebok Stadium is not a good example in one sense as it used to be an aircraft and weapons factory, an ex relative of mine worked there. In fact the whole area looks a hell of a lot better now.

"There has been virtually no coverage of the B&H stadium issue in the national media, It is not of national interest and it has raised little interest outside immediate football circles. "

What to the EVER.

Quite. The fact that over 150 MPs at some point or other have signed the motion in favour of the stadium would suggest that they are talking about of their....derriere.

Surely we are going to get..well I think so anyway..only a mad-woman would reject the plans.

Say the worst did happen though.....what do you think would happen??

Riots/protests...

What would we do?
