He’s out of contract so no there is no sell-on. The undisclosed fee part is because he is under a specific age and out of contract so a nominal fee had to be paid, but it won’t be much at all.
I reckon we had an option to extend his deal, as often seems to be the case. Lommel had an option to buy, I wouldn't have thought they would have that option if he was out of contract.

We wouldn't be entitled to compensation as that only applies to players under 23 if they move to another club in England. If a player under 23 moves to another association at the end of their contract then no transfer fee needs to be paid. It's why Chelsea were keen to get a deal done with us for Tariq Lamptey as he was refusing to sign a new deal and looking at a move to France which meant they'd have got nothing for him. As the club have mentioned undisclosed terms it means we more than likely had an option for next season.

This isn't to be confused with training compensation payments which are to be paid when a player under 23 moves to a new club, these amounts are pre-set and have to be paid by the club the player is signing for regardless.
