I was just thinking about the Joao Felix loan to Chelsea last season - JF was reportedly on £250k pw. Incidentally, Chelsea covered ALL his wages, plus paid a loan fee of €11m (just for half a season).

Maybe. I think Bounanotte out on loan just became more likely. After that we’ll be playing. Thursday / Sunday with four attackers out of Mitoma, March, Ferguson, Welbeck, Pedro, Adingra, Fati and maybe Lallana (10 only). That’s two for each position. Fati won’t start until we’re sure of his fitness and Lallana can play elsewhere. After that Adingra is least likely starter. Whatever, then expect heavy rotation and use of impact subs

As you say there are going to be a lot of variations though I hope some combinations e.g. Wellbeck and Ferguson are not repeated, same with Gross (who you missed out from the list) and Lalana. Incredible options up front but we need some better cover at the back.

I'd hope he's in a decent car, there's a real likelihood of breaking down in a Range Rover and missing appointments.

Yeah Gross can play at 10 too but De Zerbi likes him deeper.
