Seems more or less every town is saturated by these ******* shops. In Worthing there are at least 4 Ladbrokes, 2 William Hills, a paddy power, a corals, and there must be others. For a town the size of worthing that's bloody ridiculous - especially Ladbrokes!!!!

I very much doubt it, these bookies are a step ahead of your average punter, maximising profits by attracting hardened (or even weakened) gamblers to play gaming machines in store was just a bonus to their business. Having shops on the high street was prosperous while they milked the rewards. Think you'll find their profits will increase again when they cut their overheads by closing branches and concentrating on their online business.
