bhadeb and vulture - do you even realise how tedious you are? Thanks to your constant griping and single syllable vitriol we all know you hate Dick Knight. Do you really have to take every single opportunity (and non-opportunity) to keep going on and on about it?

seems they do ................which makes me avoid these sort of threads

I would have thought staying at Stockport was a better Plan B.
definitely so if he bothers to read threads with posters having a go at just about anyone involved with the club

You would have said that before we spent £300,000 on Murray, you have no idea who we can realistically bid for.

I still believe the club know very well where we need to strengthen and are doing what needs to be done to get the players in. It's a little worrying that January is coming to an end, but there's always a rush towards the end of the window.

We bid £300k for Murray because we sold Hammond for £225'000 and Revell for £125,000 and Elder for £35'000, we also lost Savage off the wage bill.

We spent £300k on a striker but made the squad considerably weaker.

dont hate dick knight at all...just think his time as chairman should now come to a end as he is taking the club backwards. And as has been pointed out by other posters on this thread we had MORE money coming in through transfers during the last window then GOING out.

Why can't the Albion seem to attract players to the Club?

So with time running out on this transfer window, we once again seem to have made no progress in enhancing the squad. Will we have to wait until we are playing at Falmer to start attracting new players or is our current league position putting off any potential purchases or is it the Manager? It looks like we'll be going down the same old route of loan signings again, which as a short term fix is ok, but I think it works in two ways, it gives that player a chance to be seen playing by other clubs that wouldn't normally get to see him but it also leaves a gap in the squad when his loan spell ends if he's been successful. Is there an answer and if there is what is it?

None of those had gone when we signed Murray. Also, we brought in Thomson and Dixon for money so lost money overall in the transfer window. However, it is always great to ignore facts when making a point.

Which is fine if there were lots of people lining up to replace him. I am confident if people came in and had an offer in the interests of the club, Dick would move aside but I also believe it has not happened yet.

may be it was the thought of being told by MA that the fans dont like him and will not cuddle him, but if he did sign and MA was sacked he would resign him when he become manager of another club. All this even before the Withdean tour
