Dons to start ground work
Milton Keynes Dons will start building work on a new 30,000-seater stadium in Denbigh next month which will be ready for the start of the 2006/07 season.
Chairman Peter Winkelman admits the Dons are still not economically viable in their tiny National Hockey Stadium home despite his takeover.
But he insists that will change when the club moves to a permanent home.
He said: "We're due to start enabling works on site at the end of August and we will be finished by July 2006."
