He has just tweted the following:

Just Spoken to Gus. Lua Lua signing is "really an advanced situation" and just a "matter of time"

"The Argus exclusively revealed last Friday LuaLua's desire to return to the Seagulls permanently after two successful loan spells interrupted by injuries"

This is the sort of scoop that makes the NSC rumour mill look like a bunch of amateur fans that we are.

You've got to take your hat off to those Argus journalists. It wasn't until they exclusively REVEALED this amazing story that I had any idea that Kazenga had any warm feeling towards The Albion, let alone that he enjoyed his time down here and would rather play for Gus than sit in Toon's reserves.

They are razor f***ing sharp up there in Hollingbury aren't they?

I think you'll find that was the first time we had any confirmation that LuaLua wanted to leave Newcastle and join us. Before that most people thought he wanted to do pre-season at Toon and try to get in their team.

Well they're saying different things. Naylor is saying that he spoke to Gus (can't argue with that) and Gus said it's a matter of time. Moggy says it's tomorrow for £1.5 mil. If Moggy is right, Gus was holding a bit back from Naylor, and Moggy will get the plaudits. If he's wrong, he will be shot.

No! Totally wrong! The Argus know the score, but 'close to signing' will sell tomorrows paper, then 'the signing' will sell Saturdays paper. It's a cash cow.
