Good move I think, gives him chance to improve his game.

I would say it give them both chance to improve their double team play ready for the Davis Cup at Wimbledon in Sept.

Didn't see the Murray/Nadal match last week because I was frying on a beach, but surely Murray's performance against the eventual champion should be seen as fairly promising. The first thing you have to do to beat him is to match his level of intensity and mental strength, should be easy enough ,eh?

Wimbledon is the only time he will play on grass (plus Queens/Eastbourne) so it will not help him on the other 49 weeks of the year when a volley in a singles match is rare. Can't see how doubles will improve is second serve though.

if by "performance" you mean being bludgeoned off the pitch and by "fairly promising" you see his destiny as a fill in for nearly man Tim Henman, then yes the future is bright for British tennis.

Tennis at the Olympics can f*** right off anyway, as far as I'm concerned. I LOVE the Olympics, and I really don't like the inclusion of sports where the Games are not the pinnacle of that sport.

Same goes for football.

Ask any athlete, swimmer, rower, shooter, archer, track cyclist, etc what event they would most dearly love to win, and it would be the Olympics. In contrast, an Olympic medal means next to f*** all to Venus Williams, and their presence is an AFFRONT to the Games.
