Apologies if fixtures, but heard that we're bringing back Crofts in a swap + cash deal for Matt Sparrow of all people.

Obviously not revealing the source, but you heard it here first.

So Norwich, currently without a manager, are after one of our back up players in return for our former player of the year? Something doesn't fit to me.

If they have offered Crofty they are after a much bigger fish than Matty Sparrow - rumour on the pink 'un a while back that they were interested in Bridcutt would make more sense but with their manager and assistant gone they may be back to square one in terms of team building unless they go for Malky Mackay or Ian Holloway who have also cast envious eyes over some of our players

crofts has no future at norwich if that helps

not a surprise - I think that decision was reached by last Christmas to be fair.

I liked the lad in League 1 and he did well for Norwich in the Championship I believe but he is limited in what he can offer and I am not convinced he would fit in especially well with the squad we now have in terms of bringing something different or something extra. The old saying, never go back, may be true in this case.

That would be superb, if true. Crofts would provide (again) the midfield bite we've been sorely lacking. Plus he seems to love it here.

Maybe it's a case of it the suit fits for Sparrow...

If that deal is on offer, we need to bite their hand off and quickly.

Id bloody love Crofts back, I want him and Trotter to battle it out for the 2 central spots with Bridcutt.

The great thing with Crofts is he can fit straight in
