Look.

We've been patient.
We've waited until the Premiership window closed.
You've had enough time to think.

Now sign the flipping (that's polite eh) form - OK.

If it doesn't happen this week, I can't see it happening. :(

It seems to look less and less likely ot me, my guess is that he is gonna disappear and we'll hear nothing more about it.

Smoke screen from Dick Tight so we inadvertantly ignored how few players have once again been brought in to bolster the squad.

What if Leon gets injured?

I quite agree Tinx. I was once hopeful but not anymore, if he signs great stuff, if he dont then we aint lost nothing 'cos we did'nt have it ni the first place.

If we have offloaded FDM to ease the playing budget, then I assume we couldn't afford someone like Kanchelskis anyway.

Another bit of spin from the spin meister Dick Tight and his cronie Obergruppenfuhrer Perry

I don't want him to sign now. He obviously thinks he is too good for Brighton. Noone should need that much time to make a simple decision only commiting for 3 months anyway.

If you went for a job interview and the boss said we would like to offer you the job and after 2 weeks you still had not decided he would withdraw the offer.

Better off without him I reckon. We want people who want to play for the club.

Dick Tight?

New stadium not enough for you then?
Steve Coppel not enough?
2 championship trophies in a row not enough?

Possible that the offloading of FDM means we can slightly improve the offer to AK and he'll sign. So much for the deal not being about money.

Personally, I think it's a dead deal.

Anyone know whether he's still training with us. Must have soured the relationship somewhat if he is training with us have been offered a deal and basically said "Nah, I'd rather not play for anyone."

The continued silence and news vacuum does seem increasingly worrying and it does now look like nothing will happen.

Shame.

Could have been exciting to see him delivery quality balls into Leon. However, if he doesn't want to play, no worries. I'm sure SC will sign someone when he spots a talent at the right price or he will play the loan market well.

It was nice while it lasted though.

If anyone from the club reads these pages, all I would say as a season ticket holder is, tell us what the news is; it's not exactly confidential. I mean, it's been going on for a long time, and as we are your customers, we do deserve a bit of respect.

That's not a pop and saying Dick Knight out or anything like that, it's just that I would like to know.

Kanchelskis has been given the 'best' offer that the club can muster.

He is also sitting on two offers from abroad.

It's all down to him now but it's quite clear that his agent is touting him around.

He may yet still choose us out of convenience but let's not kid ourselves that he's going to be devoted to the cause

He's most unlikely to sign for us I think but it's no real loss as far as I'm concerned. What is irritating though is all the indecision. If you don't want to play for us AK, just p**s off and stop getting our hopes up and wasting our time.

I feel better now.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Oh well, if his stay in Glasgow was anything to go by the Casino's, Brothels and Kebab shops will be taking this as very bad news indeed.
I heard in the pub tonight that he was signing for some Dubai outfit on 10G a week ???
A lucky escape for us I think

If money was no object to him (as has been stated in the past) why the hell didn't he sign for 3 months when he was first offered the contract. He'd have already been playing for a month, he'd have earned some money for a month. If he'd played well for a few games, he would have been offered a longer deal by us or another club would come in for him after the three months were up!!

Quite pissed off about this. Don't care anymore if he signs or not. The only slightly annoying thing is not being able to do the MC Hammer chant!!
