Former Manchester United star Andrei Kanchelskis trained with the Albion squad today. The 34-year-old Ukrainian has just returned from Saudi Arabia where he has been playing for Al-Hilal, but it now looks as if he wants to re-establish himself in the English game.
Kanchelskis has amassed transfer fees of over £19 million during his career, and along with Manchester United, has played for Everton, Manchester City and Southampton, as well as such notable European sides as Dynamo Kiev, Fiorentina and Rangers.
So far Kanchelskis has only enjoyed about an hour's worth of circuit training with the squad. Assistant manager Bob Booker told seagulls.co.uk, "Andrei is based in Sussex and he wants to work on his fitness. We are convenient for him, and he asked us if he could come and train, so we said that was fine."
