Rest in peace to one of the greatest actors of our time. His comedic timing as Captain Raymond Holt was genuinely superb.

Never mind Cptn. Holt…… I love his character Detective Frank Pembleton in the underrated series Homicide, Life On The Street . I think it aired in the ‘90s . I cannot find it now to stream but I have some of it on DVD . If it does come your way I recommend it.

Absolutely agree. Wonderful actor best remembered in our house for his role in Homicide, Life On The Streets. Will dig out the DVD and binge watch Detective Frank Pembleton again. Great show, great actor.

He was an excellent actor and brilliant in Primal Fear which doesn't seem to have been mentioned anywhere I've seen.

Incredible performance as Captain Holt in Brooklyn 99, I'm not a big fan of the show but the compilation of his quips to Captain Wunch is perfection.

Homicide was a great programme.

I've been trying to find it on any streaming service, either legal or by more nefarious means, for a while now and I've only found really poor quality versions that make watching it virtually impossible. I'd love to see it properly as I've enjoyed the limited stuff I've seen and can see why Braugher got such rave reviews for his role. Hopefully one of the proper streaming services will pick it up in tribute.

Great show. Seems that it's not available to stream anywhere as far as I can Google.

It originally aired on NBC, no idea if they still have the rights to it.
