What about missing the pit lane and driving straight into the gravel, that was a total chokejob and in the final race he was all over the track even before his problems!

that will be missing the pit lane as his tyres had so degraded that he had NO grip whatsoever because his team admitted they kept him out two laps too long?

Yeah he is shit really

Funny how Lewis Hamilton complains about the media as his main reason for moving to Switzerland. So does he go quietly under the cover of darkness ? No calls a press conference and tells everyone where hes going:tosser:

He'll still win the award tho

LEWIS HAMILTON?
personality. . . . ummmm. . . . . . .if it really is for personality and not some pointless polularity contest, give it to ricky hatton. at least he's funny (despite looking like he's melted a bit). lewis hamilton is the second most dull person in the world.

The word "personality" should have been removed from the title the moment Steve Davis won it.

Amir Khan?

He can get out of my shop until he mans up and fights Jon Thaxton!

I predict that Khan will fight and defeat Thaxton in Feb/March next year after he beats Graham Earl in December.

Chrissie Wellington for me.

Won the women's 140-mile Ironman world championship in Hawaii last month. A true British world champion and an absolutely phenomenal achievement considering she had only completed (and won) her first Ironman the month before. Such a shame her title has received very little coverage.

Absolutely, but as it is not deemed a core sport someone like that will never win. A shame as it should be about unparalleled feats, but more often than not it is a glorified slap on the back for the darlings of the media. Bit like the Oscars and so on. Not always the best are victorious, just those that have a good marketing team and more coverage.

Oh I'm not that naive to believe that Chrissie Wellington is in with a shout, I just think it's a shame that of that list of "main contenders" only Hatton is a world champion in his chosen sport. I mean, Jonny Wilkinson and Tim Henman for f***'s sake.
