Anastasia's Donations

We received a lot of money from people here after Anastasia passed on and I just wanted to let you know what happened to it. We gave almost all of it to the Paediatric Oncology Unit where she was treated and we got a letter at the weekend telling us they had purchased a portable pain pump with it and that it had allowed a child to leave the hospital and spend time at home, rather than being dependant on the hospital grade pump and tied to their hospital bed.

The rest of the money went to the Neuroblastoma Society.

Just wanted to let you al know that the money has made a huge difference to the quality of life of at least one youngster. So, thank you very much. We appreciate it and I am sure this child's family are equally grateful.

After all the moaning on here recently it is nice to see some posts that put a smile on my face and puts everything else into prespective. I am so pleased for the families that are going to benefit from all the donations and to you and Starry who have put so much effort in to make these things happen in what must have been a harrowing time for you both.
