Everest picked me up from home, a jolly decent favour
We then met Artois down the pub, with Chapman is the Saviour
Some beer, some chat, a bit of pool, was how our time was spent
Then Fatboy and The Famous Grouse turned up, and off we went

So onwards then to Falmer, our intrepid crew embarked
Soon after we were at The Site, the cars were duley parked
I travelled light with just a coat, and cold beer from the fridge
But where were all ther other fans ? They're over on the bridge

Then Beach Hut and Lord Bracknell came, puffing down the hill
"The Argus they are on their way !" the cry came up so shrill
We turned on heel and headed back, and stood right by the field
The Argus woman then turned up, I had my beer concealed

Hasty phone calls then were made, Lord B in some annoy
As he barked fiercely down the phone "Just move your arse, Fatboy"
Eventually the clan arrived, with banner in full flow
We posed and smiled with radio's, someone trod on my toe

Back to the bridge we then all trooped, we really earnt our corn
As passing cars showed their support by giving us the horn
Trotster on the phone-in show told Harty of the flashing
She was quite concious of her hair, we told her it looked smashing

Roz's camera took some snaps of Trigger, Poke and Safeway
The ones of Chappers and Artois just made them look quite gay
As for me I steered well clear, in hindsight good advice
I'm not much good in photographs, I always look a SLICE

The evening ended down the pub, and Trosters party piece
She squeezed a spot in Safeways drink, much pus did she release
The drinks continued on and on, the Albion we were toasting
I did however stay too long, and got home to a roasting

A top day out, some new friends made, the message loud and clear
"PLEASE GIVE US FALMER MR P, THE PEOPLE YOU MUST HEAR"
I havn't got much more to write, the inks dried from my pen
There's just enough for me to say, regards from Easy 10.

It was even funnier at the time.

Life according to Thumper

If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all

I dunno, no pleasing some. A poem is my crime
I'm bored at work, what can I say, it helps to pass the time
Perhaps I'll give more careful thought before I write another
We can't have things on NSC that irk Chemical Brother
