An idea for the FA cup.....

I am ready to be shouted down but this thought came to me today.

The FA cup is a real saviour for the likes of kettering who get TV money and the potential of a trip to Man U.

Could the FA and TV not structure the payments so that the smaller team gets more of the money ?

Take off the third to the FA then :
1 division below 60:40
2 divisions 80:20
3 divisions 100:0

Big boys would not like it as they would moan about their expenses to put on the game but it wouldbe one way of redistributing some of the stupid wealth that the prem teams have got.

so if palARSE (who need some money fast) got someone like York at home they would loose money even though they needed it just as much as the lower club?

But a club in a higher division gets more TV rights anyway - if they are struggling it's probably poor financial management.

Anyway scum against anybody should get bugger all!

Why should a higher league club have to pay to play a tie?
