[Palace] An amusing take on Crystal Palace FC - and its fans

I've always thought to myself, where do Chelsea fans actually come from, what is their area? A club with no real home fans is a club with no soul and that is exactly what Chelsea are, horrible club with horrible fans my most hated football team by a longshot.

If there is one thing I like about CPFC (and I assure you it's probably the only thing  ), is that all the fans I've met are proper supporters. Chelsea fans really are dreadful, I've met so many who DEFINITELY started supporting prior to the Abramovitch era. I asked one such person to name some club legends prior to the takeover. He only got Zola, I could get more than him. He even thought that the statue outside the bridge was of "Kenny Oswood"

As much as I hate Palace, at least they are real football fans (of sorts). Chelsea? Their paying customers buy an experience, have a winning mentality, are happy to jump on any new bandwagon. Football? They really are clueless twunts.
Agree with you,Palace, like every club have their glory hunters, but also have genuine fans as well...Chelsea...well jump on the bandwagon...I admit I used to watch 'Osgood is good' when I worked in London and could'nt get to a an Albion match, but heart and soul was not with them and I went because a good mate of mine supported them...but really...no other club comes close to the Albion in my book.

Clickbait.

The line about burying the relatives under the patio is both instantly amusing to a Brighton fan and slightly awkward given the Tia Sharp case. It does beg the question though, are Palace fans Nigels or Pikeys? Should we stick to just one given the neighbourhood's predilection for both Chelsea Tractors driving the sons of accountants to school and Staffie wielding c**ts burning down the neighborhood furniture stores. "Can I have a police escort to the ground sir?" "Of course you can if I can search your away coach for nose candy"

That's the real paradox with Palace fans. On one hand a Surrey based, police escort requesting, band of Always Ultras. On the other an area blighted with drug dealers and terrible chicken shops. You're never too sure if they're too posh or too scummy.

The truth is that they are both and neither and that's the same for Chelsea fans. THEY are well dressed casuals and white van drivers from Staines and proper plastics that have never seen Stamford Bridge and Japanese football tourists and BBC journalists. Everyone has their weaknesses which is why these articles are both easy and lazy.

I think you're reading way too much into this- much as I'm not sure it's a subject to be pedantic about, nobody was buried under a patio in the case you're referring to.

No she was left in the attic - and missed by the initial search. I'm still pretty sure that's what started the writer off on that path.

Home counties most of the London clubs especially Chelsea, Arsenal , Spurs, West Ham, Millwall and The Scum in fact from Crowborough The Scums ground is only about 6/7 miles further than Brighton.
In fact a certain gentleman I know well Mr H lets call him on here, and his brothers were Chelsea's top boys !!

Why call him Mr H. I am from T Wells and knew him and all his brothers well, back in the late 70's and 80's.
He totally led all the fighting that was going on at the time. I was talking to him one night in the old Tropicana nightlife, he said that he only had respect for one set of fans and that was Brighton. He hated all others especially the other London clubs but he had a strange affinity with Brighton. He knew I was an Albion fan any other and I would have been toast by the end of the weekend. It did not stop him organising the carnage that Chelsea dished out at the Goldstone though.
I never spoke to him about that because he would never admit to any involvement, but he eventually got caught and had the book thrown at him. An interesting person.

If the surname begins with Hick... and he's from Tun Wells then he's telling the truth. Even appeared in Football Factory that Mr H.

You are correct Sir ! Just didnt think its a good idea to use full names, especially with some of the divs that get on here !!

Can any palace fans explain how they think they are proper fans when they the fans bang a drum and only turn up when in the premier league? It's not as if they have ever fought for their club like Brighton did in the Archer years either.

Brighton factually.....
Lets drop this "let's all laugh at Palace" style threads it is embarrassing.... We are the ones who bottled it in the play offs, and they have down themselves proud so far in the premiership. We should get our own house in order before giving it the big uh, just makes us look stupid.

This. Saw the Chelsea game on the TV here, they could have won by 4 or 5.

Everytime you slag us off with unfounded rubbish, you end up with egg on your face.

Great win today.
